Hi, just wondering if anyone can help me. Been having a problem with my laptop recently and when I turn it on the keyboard and touchpad don't seem to be responding but when I go into safe mode this is working. Also when trying to run system restore this is getting the the finalising stage and then doesn't actually work.
Please somebody help!
It could be Static Electricity build up that can interfere with the touchpad and keyboard. To clear it up, try a hard reset; turn off your laptop and disconnect it from any external power source. Then take out the battery. Next, hold your laptop's power button for about a minute. Then replace the battery and power up.
I notice, in your post, you state it works in safe mode, so this may not be beneficial.
I have tried this and it doesn't seem to be working as I am not sure what is meant to happen when I take my finger off the power button?
I have just attempted this once again and nothing seems to happen is there any other ways I can get it back working? I have also tried plugging a USB mouse in and that doesn't seem to work either although I plugged in my iPhone USB cable and that seems to charge my phone up so the USB's seem to be working

I would open into safe mode with networking and update your AV and Malwarebytes and run deep scans with both and see what comes up.
