is there any way to pin shortcut to the the taskbar for a folder? i guess like the old quick launch. one click to get folder open.

Well, when you drag a folder from the explorer to the taskbar, you can pin it to the taskbar, but it will end up on the top of the startlist of the explorer icon.
To show it separately, you can change settings of the taskbar, but that would lead to all your browser windiws showing too, and that is something you probably don't want.
I'm sure the must be a reg key to show only separate explorer icons.
Maybe Brink has a tutorial for it.
I'll look around.
