    about to murder my laptop


    i have the restore cds for my Toshiba. though a friend bought them and not for my exact modle though i used before. so not sure if there right ones but model for are a few numbers off. i used once before. i get into safe mode but windows hangs won't load normal mode i can repair but keeps breaking when restart. should i download from windows or use restore cds? if don't use cds will lab top work. last time using cds two recovery partions were made do they stay? anyone know key push to get into restore mode thanks

    If you let us know the exact model of your Toshiba laptop, perhaps the folks here may be able to help you better.

    its c6750d satellite safe mode works windows hangs it won't restore now. safe mode works repair don't i assume i have format though should i safe info

    going try repair if return to factory settings but the cds have say different model could . be problem. what's Toshiba recovery wizard window cmd prompt or windows memory. it claims no problem with windows. safe mode works should i disable anti virus Microsoft essitiala avast and no auto run see if program doing it. could a virus be the culprit? sigh

    i get windows but freezes omg should safe mode reinstall is way reinstall drivers

    i noticed there are two partions on my drive one called system one recovery. i think one contains default restores one i made accident with restore cds anyway to know which one is default? i should only have once recovery right. x default with Toshiba?

    The recovery partition should do the same thing as the recovery disks you made-----restore the laptop to the way it was when shipped from the Toshiba factory.

    If you have tapped f8 at boot, you will come up with the Windows Advanced options menu. Use your keyboard's arrow keys to navigate to "Repair Your computer," and hit enter. Once you have entered in your logon credentials and selected the keyboard language, you will see a window with options like startup repair and command promt. In that window, click on the Toshiba Recovery.
