An Interruption problem that is Doing my Head in!

    Hi guys.

My problem at the moment is that when I am working in a software package such a Adobe Premiere Pro or Deamweaver (or any program at all), I am getting interrupted by an unknown program that causes me to loose control of the program i.e. if I am writing in Word the interruption occurs and whatever I am typing after that does not appear on the screen. I have to click back to the page to start writing again. This happens every 30 seconds or so and is very frustrating, especially if I am editing a video because the footage will stop and will have to click play again. I'm sorry if this makes no sense at all but it the best way I can describe the problem.

Here is a list of programs that are running :

    Hello Leroy -

You have way too much crap open for us to sort through. Please reboot your system, open Notepad ONLY then post the list of running processes.

Please close all that stuff running in the sys tray, too (Adobe Acrobat, Powertray, etc.).

    Regards,

    Leroy,

Please go to your control panel>uninstall programs, and take a screenshot (tutorial by Brink) or two of all the programs you have listed there and post them here.

While there, I would remove the google toolbar and google update service (provided you do not use google Chrome). These programs are by no means necessary or useful.
    * Additionally, I personally would choose a different antivirus rather than AVG. It is terrrible and causes just about more problems than actually catching viruses. I would choose something like MSE, but there is a whole thread about it over here: What's the Best Anti-virus?. If you do decide to remove AVG, use this AVG created tool: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util..._2012_2125.exe. Whether you decide to use AVG or another antivirus, update it now and run a full scan of your computer.
    * Keep in mind that this paragraph is entirely by choice, I am just recommending some ideas based on my experience.
    * I would recommend installing this program, updating it and running a full scan as added protection (works well with most antivirus software programs): Download Malwarebytes

    I forgot to mention this:

    This may take some time:
First, restart your computer. Make sure you can reproduce the problem by opening a program such as word. Close it, then, type "MSCONFIG" into your start menu search bar without quotes and click it. Select "Diagnostic startup" and reboot the computer. Now see if the problem persists. If it doesn't, click on the 'services' tab, click "Hide all Microsoft services", and begin to, one at a time, check the services and reboot. Test if you get the same problem until you do begin to get the problem. Then you can know that one of the services are causing the problems.

If you do get the problem even under 'diagnostic startup', or if you find which service is causing the problem, let me know. After you've done all of this, make sure you go back to the System configuration (MSCONFIG) and select "Normal startup".
