Windows 7 password recovery

Because there is always a vague possibility of forgetting such an important password, I have always made a password recovery file via the control panel.
I think your safest route is to reinstall.

Since you can log into the administrator account.

Start>Control Panel>Computer Management>Local Users and Groups>

Find your account, right click and select reset password. You should not need to provide your current admin password to set a new one using this method.

If you have any files protected by EFS, you will lose access to them. They will not be recoverable without the previous administrative password.

The password reset disk mentioned above is created by the operating system, not a third party reset tool.

Bitlocker only protects data at rest. If you are using whole disk encryption, when the system boots and retrieves the key from the TPM/USB drive. It is completely decrypted.

do this, open command prompt with admins rights, and type "control userpasswords2" a window will open called "user accounts", click in advanced button and then a window will open, select the USERS option, and to the right select Administrator. right click on Administrator and choose properties, then in the general tab, uncheck the "account disable"

log off and the log in as "administrator" or the new account that you never saw before, after that go to control panel, and then to User Accounts and family, the select the ACCOUNT which you want to remove the password, the option to remove the password for that account should appear, but only i you are logged as the hidden administrator account and all is done
