    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error" error message

    What do I need in order to fix this problem? This pop-up message appears when I patched my game

    According to the error message the application (the patch you installed) isn't working right and for you to contact the folks who made the patch. I'm guessing that would be the support team for Audition Dance Battle or perhaps the support folks for all of e-games.com.ph

    ::E-Games - Audition Dance Battle::

    E-Games Portal

    Let them know exactly what the error message says, the specific ID number for the patch you installed, specific info about your computer (make, model, version of Windows you're using, amount of RAM, CPU, etc) so they can figure out what's wrong. In the meantime, you could try uninstalling the patch while waiting for a response. Sorry I can't be more help.

    Oh, thank you, so the patch itself is the problem and not my pc?

    From what the error message indicates, Patcher.exe is the application and it's asking Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. So the application (not your computer) apparently isn't playing nice with Runtime. It could be some bad coding in the Patcher.exe file or something else that the patch developers did (or should have done but didn't do.) Your pc should be fine.

    If you'd like to check your computer "just in case", first, I'd uninstall the patch. Then you could use Disk Cleanup to remove any temporary files. This tutorial shows how. You can open Disk Cleanup and just use all the default settings.

    Disk Cleanup - Open and Use

    Then you can check the integrity of your Windows 7 system files by running a System File Checker scan from an elevated command prompt (option two, this tutorial.) If any problems are found, run the scan 3 times rebooting your computer after each scan. If any problems still remain you can post back for more help.

    SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    Solved. The game itself has the problem; I uninstalled the patched and installed it again. It works fine now. I was worrying because I thought my pc has the problem, and I was planning to download the microsoft c++ redistributable package. Good thing that I didn't do that. Thank you guys :)
