    What type of USB connector is this?


    What type of USB connector is this?

    It's for my JVC Everio GZ-HD620 camcorder.

    JVC want to charge £13.75 for a replacement cable but, of course, I am not paying that.

    Can anyone help?

    I could be wrong but it looks like a standard mini USB to me. 59 pence here.

    Standard Mini A is much larger than the connection on my camcorder

    Nope, that is now too thin.

    I believe that's the same type as the first link you posted.

    I looked on ebay first but they look the same as the one from SCAN?

    In any event, EPIC FAIL on my part, but if you're going to fail, you may as well do it properly.
