Disable SDHC host adaptor


Can someone please explain how i do this?
I have windows 7 and am having issues with sdhc micro sd cards.

Windows 10 Pro x64, Arch Linux

Open Device Manager, locate the device and Disable it

Find the MicroSD Host, right click>Disable.

Win7 installed to SDHC how?
I have a question for you all on how to install win7 onto my 16GB class 6 SDHC card. I can install to my hard-drive fine. During install I'm told that installation to usb media isnt possible. (Onboard reader in eeepc900ha) Please dont send me to EEE forums. They are little to no help.

I have a Panasonic Lumix GH1 camera and a 32Gb SDHC card in it. When I connect it to my Win7 x64 PC I can't get to the recorded videos, because the directory structure goes all weird: The DCIM dir in the root folder leads back to the root: G: PRIVATE MISC DCIM
