When loading games - they refuse to load saying I need admin priv

I'm sure this subject has been done to death, but I have a fairly new laptop running windows 7 home edition and when I try to load a game from a disc - admittedly fairly old games, but they both worked on vista, it loads up but when I try to play a dialogue box comes up and says error you need administrator privileges to install.

I am the only user on the laptop, and I have checked the profile I am logged in as an administrator.

The games are codemaster TOCA2 and TOCA3 - yes very old now, but I like them.

Any assistance to get round this would be appreciated.

Try right clicking on the exe file and selecting "Run as Administrator"

TGSolider - many thanks, did that and it got me past the first dialogue box - now I get 'the game installed correctly reboot to finish' I have re booted several times but nothing. Any more simple solutions?

I did find this post that may solve your problem for toca 3 at least.
It's probably safe to assume the problem with 2 is the same.
It looks the installer doesn't have a modern rights system and therefor has trouble putting files in the system directory.
