Bug? Creating new user? Also, files not locked?

I created a new user and it was not a admin user but when I did it froze and I had to reboot the computer.

When I did I could log in to the new persons account but havent tried to log into mine yet so I will keep everyone posted on what happens.

HAPPY ONE WEEK ANNIVERSARY to what I hope is a great operating system and stop all those silly im a pc and im a mac tv commerials.

Oh one more thing, since I didn't create the new account as an admin person how come when I log in with that id that I can access all the system32 and files that if deleted could wreck havoc on my machine? Is that another bug?

    Thx

    Hello apple....

By "accessing" , do you mean you can change those files or just view them? They are not supposed to be hidden , just read-only to standard users. Try copying a "new text document" that you have created on the desktop, to the system32 folder and see if it lets you do it.

    Using your non-admin account, can you enter e.g. the administrator's account's documents? ( C:\users\your_admin_account\documents)
