    how to disable Snipping Toll in Win 7 ?


    In Vista, I could turn off snipping tool via Turn Windows Features On and Off > uncheck Tablet PC Components.

    In Win 7, I read that snipping too is part of the operating system in Home Premium, Ultimate, Pro and Enterprise. Unchecking Tablet PC Components will not disable snipping tool.

    So, how do I disable it, or is it possible at all ?

    Since nobody has answered the question - you might try just renaming it - that should stop it popping up .

Hi. This question probably needs to be moved to another section... I can't get snipping tool on this PC. This is Windows7 Home Premium Ver 6.1 And when I type words "snipping tool" in Windows Search Bar, nothing comes up. How do I enable it?? Very thank you folks and mods.

I have lost the snipping tool not sure why did not delete etc...how do I get it back..no trace of it on my 7X64 at all. anyone help me please Sorry for wasting time and space I have found it in system32 as snippingtool.exe Thanks for your reply
