    video not working on my machine


    i recently instaled windows 7 in my old machine
    my machine config are as follows
    processor=amd athlon
    ram 1 gb
    video card 32 mb(think this is the problem)

    i have updated all the drivers but still the video not working
    and in the apperance setting/display settings/advance setting /video card
    the video memory is shows n/a

    previously in xp video was working properly

    is this possible to play video on this machine or not or should i buy a new video card
    and also is there any software to play the video coz vlc is not working and wmp plays only audio

I bought a new msi gt 620 video card and plugged it into my pci 2.0 slot, fan started spinning up, and my monitor gave the message no signal. So I removed the card and plugged the dvi cable back into the mobo graphics, which I have been using to this point, and again got the no signal message....
I'm trying to install the correct 32 bit video drivers in the virtual Win7 32bit machine that runs on my Win7 64bit computer. The program that I want to run gives me an error that says "your graphics card does not cover the required scope of functions or the color depth is not set to 32 bits". ...
