150% size zoom in makes Chrome and Adobe Reader overblown size

    What is the native resolution of your monitor? Set it to display at that resolution, with everything at its default sizes (i.e. no zoom).

    It is already in its native resolution (1600x900)

    If 100% DPI setting isn't right for you then try setting DPI to 115-125% to see how that sizes things. I find that anything larger than that distorts things.

    Once inside your browser you can adjust how it fits the screen as suggested earlier.
