    All of a sudden...Mhotkey???

When I first boot up my computer and log in, Mhotkey appears on my taskbar for about 20 seconds and then disappears. This has been going on for about two weeks. Any idea what's happening?

According to this, it's a keyboard driver. 2 weeks ago... did you start using a new keyboard recently?

mhotkey.exe is used for configuring additional keys on Chicony keyboards. This is a non-essential process. Disabling or enabling this is down to user preference, however disabling may disable the special keys.
Non-system processes like mhotkey.exe originate from software you installed on your system.

To stop mhotkey.exe permanently uninstall 'Chicony Multimedia' from your system.

Chicony Multimedia doesn't show up within my computer. And I haven't added a new keyboard...although an automatic non-essential windows update may have???
