    Move window to current screen?

    Hello,

I have two displays setup, one is a TV (main display) and the other is a small monitor (extended display).

When I'm only using the small monitor as a display, how would I go about moving windows over from the main display to this extended one?

I am not talking about disabling the main display or changing those settings. I want the small monitor to still be the extended display. I simply want to move windows over via the task-bar or another method that doesn't involve clicking the window itself (which is on the main display, which is either off or displaying something else).

For any dual or multi display set up most will opt for a 3rd party program like DisplayFusion or UltraMon. Each of the two programs feature a Smart bar or extension of the taskbar where when moving anything over for display from one to the other the icon on the taskbar goes along with it.

Another feature seen with the two is the move button which eliminates the need to click on and hold as you drag a window from one screen to the next. With a manual click to hold and drag the window being moved will maximise itself upon reaching the next screen. With a move button the window remains at the same size.

I just got a free upgrade to the latest version of UltraMon that supports the next version of Windows as well as fixing a few bugs and had to go into the options a couple of times to get the move buttons to appear on all windows.

A simple right click on the icon in the System tray solves a lot!

To rep anyone look for the amber/yellow color + icon at the upper right corner of their post by the way.
