TaskBar - Pinned Shortcuts dissappear/stop working

    Hi Everybody,

I'm writing you because I'm having an annoying problem with the Taskbar in Windows 7 RTM...

From time to time (every couple of days) Pinned Programms in the Taskbar suddenly stop working.
Trying to start a Pinned Item is followed by an error Message, that the target Program seems to have been mooved or deleted.
A look at C:\Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar only shows an empty directory after this bug.
Even the created Librarys dissappear. Trying to create new ones is qouted with: You can't create rhe Library XXXX. Accsses denied.

I can't figgure out a reason for this since this happened on different occasions. Most of them didn't even include operations on the Filesystem. For Exapmle browsing the Internet with IE. On an other occasion I've been using the "Send To" dialog.

I looking forward for any Help on this Issue. Thanks in advance.

    With Regards.

    Auto-hide

After numerous redoing of pinned shortcuts, I found that auto-hide killed them all every reboot. I stopped using auto-hide and the shortcuts stayed. Still looking to move aero peek/show desktop button to center or left on taskbar, still no luck figuring that out.

    Many thanks for your reply.

Auto-Hide isn't the problem in my case. It is disabled.
Also this Bug emerges while Win7 is still in use. It just happens from one moment to another . It never happened after a restart.
