    File: 0 "Open with"


    Hi guys and girls.

    Everytime I start up my laptop running windows 7, I get created with ta dialogue box asking me with program to open File: 0 with.

    I've tried opening it with Notepad and get I get this text in Notepad
    [InstallLanguage]
    LangID=ENU

    Anybody got any idea what this is. I t has been happening for months now and it happens everytime I start windows 7

    File: 0 "Open with" on Windows start


    Try to check what programs are in "start automatically with windows state" by msconfig (win+R, type "msconfig" and push enter. In opened window choose "Autorun"). Some of programs after removing can still remain in Autorun and "Open with" appears when system trying to run these deleted programs.

    P.S: In my case ScreenHunter program was causing this problem

    Welcome to the Seven Forums.

    Thanks for the additional info. Maybe it will help those that find this thread while researching a similar issue.
