Windows 7 64 bit Laptop Freezing? Help Please

Hi I got my laptop about 3 months ago bought it new. Its a HP G7-1365dx windows 7 64 bit laptop. Everything has been fine with until today. I started playing League of Legends then the laptop froze in mid game. I restarted and it froze again while in firefox. I ran virus scans and registry scans and nothing came up there. It is just freezing after I log in. Also weirdly my wifi card disappeared in device manager and showed back up after restarting the laptop again. My need to resinstall or update. Can someone help me with this problem?

Someone told me it might be overheatting, but I ran speedfan so I know that isnt the problem.

If you didn't get the installation DVD's for your HP laptop, you can do like I did and call customer service to request them. They sent me out three DVD's for N/C. Two with Windows 7 32bit and 64bit and the third with the drivers and software (bloatware) that came pre-installed. But at least you now have the choice of deciding which software you want to install.

I would say chances are very good that it would take care of the problem. That being said, it all depends on how much effort you have put into configuring your current installation. If you don't want to lose a lot of the settings and also have to reinstall your software, then I would try a process of elimination, such as uninstalling any unnecessary software.

I just did a factory restore and everything is working fine, but the laptop still freezes. Not as much though. Should I still go ahead and do a windows 7 reinstall?

Also like to say that it doesn't freeze in safe mode. After a factory restore and everything working I cant figure what can be the problem

First try Cleaning Up Factory Bloatware as I suggested two days ago and to which you didn't reply.

Is that doesn't solve the issue work through these Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 to try check the logs for clues, use System Resources to see if it finds problems, test your RAM and HD, etc.

If none of these help then Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

Sry for not replying but I had gotten rid of all my bloatware at that point. I ran tests using the hp bios test, everything ram, hd, video card, sound, etc passed on the tests.

I guess ill go ahead with the clean reinstall

When you say you've gotten rid of the bloatware, have you followed all of the steps to establish a Clean Boot with only the AV starting with Windows, testing System file integrity after uninstalling crap, cleaning and defragging?
