    Windows Explorer crashes

recently the Windows Explorer crashes frequently, mainly after i close open tab in my browser that contains video (videos in YouTuBe) and then it restarts.

it didn't happen before,i don't know why it happens.

Hello OneDarkLord and welcome to Seven Forums.

Run a full scan with your antimalware suite of choice to rule out any malware issues. Since no antimalware product is 100% effective 100% of the time, I'd follow up with a couple of free on-demand scanners just in case your primary scan missed something. Some of the recommended free products are Malwarebytes | Hitman Pro | ESET | HouseCall | Superantispyware.

If your computer is malware free I'd next run a System File Checker scan from an elevated command prompt (option two, this tutorial.) The SFC will attempt to repair damaged or corrupt system files. If problems are found, run the scan at least 3 times, rebooting in between each scan.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

If this doesn't fix Windows Explorer some folks might recommend a Repair Install. That's certainly an option but you may want to read through this Microsoft Answers forum thread. It's about 28 pages long but offers some additional things to try to repair Windows Explorer.

    Repair Install

Please post back if any of this helped or not.

    I'm using ESET NOD32 Antivirus 5 (Licensed).
I did SFC and it found some problems and fixed them, then i restart my PC and did it again and no problems found.

I will watch some videos again and close their tabs to see if Windows Explorer crashes again,i will edit this post.
