Explorer crashes with AppCrash mesage pointing to faulty "ntdll.dll"
Hello...
I'm a newly registered user although I'm a fan of the site for a long time...
I just registered to thank you for helping me find a solution on "Open with" not working fully. Thanks a lot for your .reg file. It worked like a charm.
But that was only part of a general, more serious problem I have with Control Panel's option :
"Associate a file type or protocol with a program".
Whenever I click on it, Explorer tries to run it and it crashes with an AppCrash mesage pointing to faulty "ntdll.dll"
I've tried many things, replacing "ntdll.dll", even re-installing Windows 7 Ultimate but to no avail (although re-installation fixed some other problems I had with Event Viewer, Task Scheduler etc.)
I spend many hours Googling about the problem but nothing seems to help, at least in my case.
Could you, please, help me solve this problem and have a "working" and "not crashing" explorer whenever I click on "Associate a file type or protocol with a program" ?
Thank you in advance and I'm looking forward to your (solution)answer...
