Since you didn't make your recovery discs first, then you will need to contact toshiba.

    Of course,
If you have a Win 7 DVD with Win 7 Professional, then you could:
Make a 100% clean install of Win 7,
    Update your Win 7
Go to Toshiba website to get driver updates unique to your computer.

Let us know which approach you will be taking.

If you want to reinstall the OS which came with the Toshiba then besides contacting Toshiba for Recovery Disks you can also Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

Follow the same steps to install Professional using the Product Key which came with it.

You could have upgraded very easily from Starter edition to Professional edition with Anytime Upgrade option. This would have saved your original partitions, windows OS and recovery partitions.

The best way, farmat with a clean os windows 7 clean with nothing and the loko in the toshiba web and download the drivers only, this way you can have more space in the hard drive and the memory ram, than the original os windows 7,because the orignial is ok came with everyhting but theres some stuff someone dont use so why install a original?i dont like it i have a toshiba too and i format clean with the os windows 7 aside and the the driver and then my favorite software i use...
