Windows won't sleep
Hi,
when I click on Start/Sleep, my screen goes black but after 3 seconds it switches on again and the computer does not go to sleep.
Any ideas ?

I'd try running the lastwake command to see if that will help identify what is waking the PC.
Lastwake Command
You may then be able to disable that device from waking the computer

One thing I didn't see see in the KB Article that you can check:
From an Elevated command prompt enter powercfg -requests
Power Availability Requests - Manage in Windows
If anything other than "None" is returned, it could be preventing sleep.

This seems to be the same problem but it does not help in my caseCode:C:\Windows\system32>powercfg -requests DISPLAY: None. SYSTEM: [DRIVER] \FileSystem\srvnet An active remote client has recently sent requests to this machine. AWAYMODE: None.
I've disallowed all mice and keyboards to wake up the computer but it's still happening.
TexTwil,
Why?Code:I've disallowed all mice and keyboards to wake up the computer but it's still happening.
I had the same "[DRIVER] \FileSystem\srvnet" request you see, and it was preventing sleep for me.
I fixed this with one of these commands...I think the first command is the one that worked for me.powercfg -requestsoverride DRIVER srvnet system
powercfg -requestsoverride DRIVER \FileSystem\srvnet system
If David's fix doesn't turn out to be it.
Not sleeping due to : \FileSystem\srvnet
