Multiple problems with user accounts and administration

The charger for my laptop has broke, so I'm using my very old PC for a few days. This computer has two accounts - mine, which is the administrator account, and another, which is a standard account. I put a password on the admin account a few months ago, and now it's expired. I don't have the password reset disk to change it, so I can't get into the account at all. I can't change the password through the standard account, and I can't change the standard account to admin. I've tried everything I could find on the internet - booting in safe mode, running command prompt as administrator and entering various commands, enabling the built in administrator account in different ways, and none of them worked. I also don't have the Windows 7 disk.

Any suggestions would be welcome, as soon as possible! If you need more information, feel free to ask. Thanks.

Thanks, but as I'm only using this computer temporarily, I'm looking for a solution that doesn't involve money or re-installing operating systems. I was hoping there would be a way round it that I haven't already tried yet.

Kaktussoft, I basically just right-clicked on command prompt and clicked 'Run as administrator'. To activate the built-in administrator account, you do have to be an administrator yourself, which I'm not. I followed Method II on this tutorial. - Built-in Administrator - Enable from WinRE

The computer is my house's shared computer, I'm using it while I can't use my own laptop.
    I can't use Method I - access denied.

??? So you can enter windows recovery environment (as required in Method 1)????
Do you start in with F8 (needs administrator account) or windows 7 dvd (which you don't have)

    So... I don't understand

What I posted does not involve money if you have the COA sticker on the computer... but it does involve re-installing the OS.

There are ways to accomplish what you want w/o re-installing the OS - but we probably cannot discuss them here.
