I would like to have a command line setting rather than setting it through GUI

    Thanks,

i don't think you can use a command line surely its better the way windows has designed it.

    Hi Priya,

Not sure if there is any command line to change the resolution and color depth, but there are some utilities to change the color depth from the command line

QRes - Only for resolution and color depth
NirCMD - Lots and lots of functions and options :)
    For 800x600 24bit
    qres.exe /x:800 /y:600 /c:24
    nircmd.exe setdisplay 800 600 24
