    jump list/outlook problems after BSOD

I had a BSOD last week(didnt get the code) and after logging back on i had lost my pinned items, my jump list, my background picture and when I launched Outlook it was like I was using it for the first time. It was only my profile as the other 3 on my PC are fine. I have decided to set up a new profile, shift all my files to that and delete the corrupted one. However in Outlook I no longer have any personal folders , contact list etc but they still exist as I can view them using windows explorer. MY question is.....how can I view the .pst file on my old user profile and copy it to the new one ....im having trouble viewing/finding the actual folder.Should I just go through the import function on the new profiles outlook?Also.....any ideas on what caused this issue. Thanks all.

    Hi fluster

What version of outlook are you using? 2010 / 2007?
From your original post, I hope you haven't deleted your corrupt user profile.

Take a look at this for importing .pst: Import a file - Outlook - Office.com

You should get your .pst files in C:\Documents and Settings\user_id\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Or, go to Control Panel Mail and there should be a box named Data Files Click on it and select Open file location and save them to where you can import them from.

Let us know how it goes.
