My younger brother accidently pulled my laptop off the computer desk about six months ago. I managed to get the laptop to output through the HDMI to a flat screen TV and have been using it like that since.
Last week we went on a vacation and I shut the laptop down before leaving. Now that I'm back home I can't get logged into the laptop because the screen is busted and it won't output to the HDMI anymore.
I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1. There are 6 user accounts on the laptop and I need to get into the one on the bottom left.
Any advice on either how to get it to output through HDMI on the user account screen or any other method to get logged in would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a monitor that has that port? A tv with that port? If you do get out a vga cable and connect your laptop to your tv. Then, power the laptop on and make sure the monitor or tv is set to vga.

Hey guys.
I have a problem. Sometimes (randomly) when I move my mouse from my second monitor on to my primary, my mouse pointer gets "broken".
I've added a photo of what the cursor now looks like on the primary monitor. (had to take it with my cell)
The pointer is always standard icon...

Hi Guys,
My problem is simple:
I have an external monitor, actually a TV connected via S-Video cable coming out of the back of my video card.
My TV is my second desktop. All of that is fine.
The problem comes in when I log off or "switch users" (there are no other user profiles on...
I have a setup with 6 monitors. Today my main monitor broke and I couldn't find a way to shut the PC down since I couldn't access the main desktop to get to the Start menu.
Is there a way to change which monitor is the main monitor without having access to the current main monitor?
