Junk in my system Path--can I delete w/o problem?
%CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared\Windows Live;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;%SYSTEMROOT%\System32\WindowsPowe rShell\v1.0\
%CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared\Windows Live;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;%SYSTEMROOT%\System32\WindowsPowe rShell\v1.0\
Should Path = just this? Should it be lots of paths like above? How does this work?
%SystemDrive%
Or this:
PATH = %SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem

THanks for the reminder Tews, I will. I have found restore points unreliable, when I need them, I get errors, can't use. That was under XP, maybe better under Win7?
I have found win7 Restore points very reliable, have even crashed (per instruction from MS) and the restore points were very good.
PS: might I ask is your system x86 or x64.
make sure you set a restore point before you delete that...
PSS: I do not have (line) in my version Win7 Ultimate x86
Good point, Antman.
I have a problem running Control Panel--Scanners & Cameras.
Control Panel--Scanners & Cameras gives error
I'm wondering it above path is souce of problem. But other Control Panel apps run ok, so path must be ok.
Sigh.
