Guest Account logs in with temporary profile

    Guest Account logs in with temporary profile


    Not sure how to fix this problem. I did not see a hive with the .bak extension in the HKEY_USERS section. I am loathe to delete the user account and files since Guest is a special account.

    Can someone suggest a course of action?

    Thanks.

    p.s. I typically keep the Guest account disabled, but I do enable it once or twice a month.

Logs me with temporary profile

Since yesterday my computer would log me in with a temporary file, i kept restarting to go back to my normal profile but it once did and it said that it could not find my profile in system32 or something. The theme was changed to some older 95 version i think
I did not delete my profile, but whenever I log in to my account, it says: Welcome and then Preparing your desktop ...which I know it only does when a new account is being loaded. Then, I'm in the temp profile. My comp is activated, as it is the RTM. Why is it doing this? How can I fix this?...
