    Please help, hidden folders option is MESSED up! Not tech-savvy.


    As you can see from the picture, my tool/option is messed up. Can anyone help me? All help is appreciated. About a month ago it was fine, but now it is not. I didn't download anything off the internet other than images. So a virus is a very small possibility.

    Welcome to the forums pentrutaramea

    Start off with SFC Scannow and reboot when prompted SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    After that download and install the free version of Malwarebytes and do a full scan Malwarebytes : Malwarebytes Anti-Malware PRO removes malware including viruses, spyware, worms and trojans, plus it protects your computer post back results for further suggestions.

    Btw, have you tried restoring to default options? attached image -
