Help with recovery
My neighbors computer crashed (blue screen wouldn't boot) she never made a recovery disk and of course had nothing that came with her computer. Shes running windows 7 and I was trying to do a system restore and wasn't able to get it to come up. (Forgot about the D partition)
I ended up putting a new copy of windows from my disk on hers just to get it up and running and did save the old windows but not sure where. But with using the disk she doesn't have her office which her daughter needs to do her school work. I tried to load mine and it says theres not enough memory to load. Even though I put another copy of windows on it is there a way to get back to the original going through the back up thats on the computer, or do I need to order the disks for it. Shes all worried as she talked to someone and they told her it would be 100.00 to fix and 200.00 for the disks. This lady has no money and I am sure I can get it back but just need the right steps to go thru. I didn't reformat anything so all info is still there.
If you can please let me know what u think I can do I would appreciate at.
