    Permissions Problem

    Hey,

I'm trying to paste a .dll file into system32 for my program but it keeps denying me because i don't have permission even though im on as administrator... how can i setup permissions properly so i won't get this issue again on any thing on my OS, i managed to rid of it on vista but i forgot, so how do I do it on W7?

Hello thefollower, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If you have another file in the system32 folder with the same name, then you will need to take ownership of that file and allow yourself full control (permission) before you will be allowed to copy the replacement in the folder.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
