Unwelcome desktop invader, how do I remove it?

Unknown to me the image of an existing icon with the size of the icon has settled in my desktop screen.
It is not acting as an icon cause I cant move it or remove it by deleting it.

How do I remove this fixed mole eyesore that sits on top of anything and everything I have on screen?

    Thank you

I'm not sure if I can help you but it would help us if you would post a screenshot of it.

I would suggest first thinking what you have did that might of created this icon. Like a new download or program. Right click on it and go to properties and get as much information as you can. If it has a program or name do a search for it. If found delete it from there. Is their any other problems using your computer? The reason I ask is sometime that little added on icon could be a infection.

Do you watch TV too on this computer ? if so, make it sure that if all the buttons of the TV's remote control are properly used, and the TV is not set to mute or anything like this

Right click on the little speaker, lower right/playback devices and see if the information there helps you. You can also type in Sound in the search.

    Asked earlier .

Asking again, do you use the monitor as a remote controlled TV ?

If so, just unmute the monitor using that remote control.
