    Or shift + ~ (release) then n = ñ

    Ñ = hold shift, then ~ then n

    ??? I want to understand this. But I do not. If I can grok it, I can quit using charmap so heavily.

    Huh...

    I was messing around trying to use the alt codes and I found out something I didn't know (thought I would share). When I hold the left alt key on my board and hit tab the Aero version of alt+tab, one with glass and thumbnail previews, comes up (which is normal). When I hold the right alt key and hit tab the basic version of alt+tab comes up (like the one from XP). I guess that will be useful in the future

    Well, hoping this has nothing to do with the fact I am running a Dutch mui, I'll try to explain, although it's not easy, being limited by a textbox.

    To make the ñ,

    I press and hold the shift and press the ~ shortly and release the shift.
    (my screen stays blank)

    Then I press the n shortly.

    Now appears the ñ

    To make the Ñ

    While holding the shift, I press the ~ shortly and then the n shortly.
    After the Ñ appears, I release the shift.

    hope this works for you.

    I have Dutch mui, but US International keyboard.

    Good luck
