    word,PDF and PPT ,Outlook all icons are not displaying in their format


    HI,
    Please help me in resolvining my prob , i have problom ,on windows7
    Word, PDF , PPT,Out look files are not appering their format and all are displaying in un know format,

    Thanks for the confirmation

    Anyway, to the OP.
    First try a SFC Scannow and reboot if it finds any violations: SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    Then follow the steps on this tutorial: Icon Cache - Rebuild

    All the file icons related to Word , XL ,PDF and PPF are displaying as unsupported format.
    Attached Thumbnails Attached Thumbnails word,PDF and PPT ,Outlook all icons are not displaying in their format-desk-top-start-menu-file-location-view.jpg
