Password reset, unable to access new computer, safe mode not working

My idiot self put a password on my computer to protect it temporarially, then by gods sense of humor the computer shut down through loss of pwer. But the password didn't save correctly and now I can't get on my account. It's the only user, and whenever I try using safe mode with command prompt, it goes to the user log in screen, which defeats the purpose.

In short, I need to reset my passdword, while not being able to log on in any way through the username. I would rather not have to wipe my harddrive, I have no recovery disc, nor partition for some reason. If I have to I will wipe my harddrive then download win7 again, but I need to know how to do that first. Any help?

Unfortuantly I have no access to a CD. What I need is a way for command prompt to be used in safe mode without logging in, or to reset the harddrive to factory default, or something without a CD, Flash drive, or login necessary.

You could also use a USB flash drive if you have one available.

What did you use to install Windows 7 in the first place?
