    consider replacing your battery error message


    I have an issue with my laptop where I get an error message saying "Consider Replacing Your Battery" my battery is fine and I can game for a hour on my laptop without the battery dying! but for quite some time now I get the following message on the battery icon "Consider Replacing Your Battery"... does anybody know how to fix this?

    May have malware on your computer, or the hardware that communicates with the battery is faulty, or even the battery itself is faulty. You will have to talk to Dell.

    may try this


    go to device manager , click batteries and in that click microsoft ACPI-complaint control method battery click that and disable it.then remove AC Adapter(charger) make your system battery to discharge fully. After battery gets discharged fully, remove the battery and press power button for 16-20 sec again insert the battery and plug in AC adapter then press power button and finally go to device manager option and enable microsoft ACPI complaint method battery.
