    Full Diagnosis on New PC

    Hi,
I bought this computer from paraguay, and i have a little itch behind my ears.
I wanted to know, how i can fully check my computer's health, knowing whether there is or there is not a problem.
Like, to know if it is overheating, if it is damaged, etc.

    Thanks,
    Alex.

    Test 1: Does it boot?

    Test2: Does it stay on?

    If yes to 1 and 2 -

Download RealTemp Real Temp - CPU temperature monitoring to check for temp issues.

SiSoftware Sandra - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com
For general in-depth view of the hardware.

Other member will post their preferred apps.

You can also run a 'performance' test here PC Pitstop: Free PC Scans and Tune-up Utilities
Click on either "Overdrive" or "full scan" (this is free)... accept the ActiveX to download the performance tool for gathering information.

Thanks for all the Applications, i am going to try them asap.
But now, the store is saying that the Motherboard x58SO does not support
    tri channel memory. For example,

    One slot = 1600 Mhz
    Two Slots = 1333 MHz
    Three Slots = 1066 MHz

He says that if i want 1600, i should find 8gb on ONE slot.
Is he lying? I even searched, but i didn't find anything.

There are 4 empty slots for Memory

Thanks, Jacee. This previously undetected condition has been a nuisance.

    About IE Cache Overflow

Systems with a cache overflow act erratically when browsing the Internet. Microsoft documents several of these problems in documents 260650 and 250747. Because Internet Explorer is integrated into the operating system, IE cache overflow can cause other applications to behave erratically as well. Outlook refusing to open can be an example.
Internet Explorer versions 5 and 6 have a bug in the way they handle the browser cache. In some circumstances, as when a page isnt fully loaded, IE will not update its cache information and does not delete the partial file. IE looses track of these files and they will not be deleted when the cache is cleared through IEs menu option (Tools | Internet Options | General | Delete Files).
