i need help with 2 problems

hi this site has help me a few times in the past but i just never got round to join :/ .. i need help with 2 problems ...

problem 1 is on my little netbook when i start it up i get "Bootmgr not found" i have tried many different options .. it wont even let me install Win 95 ( New disk never opened )
this problem occurred after i had finished doing 172 windows updates XD it restarted then did the % age part and Froze at 9% and stayed there for over 24hrs so i restarted the netbook and same thing, are the thired time i used the Recovery disk that i made after purchasing the netbook but at about 95% it says i don't have enough space on disk .... any ideas ??

    problem 2
on my friends PC, they did a system recovery ( to revert back to factory condition )
PC rebooted came up with the recovery thing asking witch language and stuff after this had finished the PC rebooted again bot came up with the Safe mode options and stuff, they tried to run in normal and all the different safe modes and no luck,
and while trying to follow the steps in this post we dont have the option "Repair Computer" , safe mode is the first option. when we try running in safe mode it says "Can not complete installation in safe mode, please reboot computer to proceed with installation" so after rebooting again .. it just goes back and repeats the process over and over .... any idias on this 1 ..

P.S sorry for the long post but i didn't want to Double post

Work through these steps for Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Boot which try everything possible to get boot repaired, then if necessary rescue any files and run Recovery or Clean Reinstall Win7.

For failed Recovery if marking Active and running Startup Repair from DVD (provided) or Repair CD don't help, then try running Recovery again from its partition, from disks you made or order from Tech Support. If these fail then do the Clean Reinstall with the Product Key on COA sticker.
