    Windows update and keyboard problem

    Hi Guys, new in town.
After a recent windows update I tried to enter my password at logon but then the keyboard seemed to take on a life of its own and began entering random dots until it ran out of space.
After about 8 reboots I managed to logon but then, in IE, I began entering text into the Google searchbar and the keyboard went off again, entering a line of 2's until it again ran out of space. Any help would be most appreciated.

Sounds like the keys are just sticking. Can you try another keyboard? You haven't completed your system specs so I can't tell if you have a laptop, notebook or desktop PC!
You haven't by chance spilt a cup of coffee on the keyboard, have you?

If only life were that simple. It's a desktop pc, the keyboard is in good working order and the same problem occurred with a different keyboard. There's something more sinister afoot!

Then do a system restore to a point behind when you installed the update!
