You can't, not without creating a new user. Your username will change everywhere else in Windows but the folder C:\Users\your user name will retain the username used when the user account was created. That's normal.

You'll have to change the user account's name in the first place, they correspond to the specific accounts on the system and can't be renamed directly. You can do this:

Start>Control Panel>(large icons)>user accounts>"Change your account name" (or "Manage another account") and change the name of the wrongly-named folders to whatever you'd like em to be called.

Hopefully that helps

Hello GEeeek, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You could use the tutorial below to properly change the name of your user profile and it's C:\Users\(user-name) folder. However, it may be easier to just create a new administrator account with the name you want, copy any files (documents, music, shortcuts, etc...) from the old account to the new one, log on to the new account, then just delete the old account when ready.
