No access to administrator account.
I was using my computer and wanted to change the security setting and access level of the folder where the windows was installed. When i right clicked on the folder and then selected the properties, then the security tab and i saw many users ,which i think i have not created,. So, I deleted all the users and something went wrong now as I lost access to the whole folder of windows, Folder C.
I am logged in as an administrator but still i don't have access to anything. I can't manage accounts, I can't create new accounts and I am really confused ![]() Please help me. Thanks Dr.Jadran |

Try doing a system restore until before you deleted the accounts, then go to control panel>user accounts and family safety>add or remove users. remove the ones u dont want, u may also want to search their files just in case somehow they have something of importance to u

If you deleted the "SYSTEM" user then windows no longer has any permission to do anything you ask it too...
First I'd try to restore from the last checkpoint, though that may not run either. You may be looking at a complete repair install after booting from the windows install disk. Can;t say for sure if that'll even fix it to tell you the truth. Repair Install |

You've learned a harsh lesson - don't delete users/files if you are unsure what they do.

At this point I would boot from a Linux LiveCD and copy your important files to removable media, then do a repair install of Windows 7. I don't think there's anything else you can do if you've deleted the SYSTEM user.
