Which motherboard do i choose?

Hi,

I have recently bought a PC in Paraguay which its motherboard said it would support 1600 MHz RAM , but if inserted 3 slots of RAM, it would slow down to 1066 MHz. Like, 1x Slot Used runs at 1600, but 3x Slots Used runs at 1066.
Is the guy lying to me?

So, i was wondering.. What motherboard can run 1600 MHz at those 3 slots?
And does the p6t asus deluxe v2 runs those 3 slots at full speed also?

Thanks,
Alex.

Well, as the techs said, they tried everything they could in BIOS, they even tried overclocking but it ran too hot and it turned off.
But what do you mean by adjusting the memory in the BIOS?

Well, i can't know for certain which ones are, because i jumped off the deal because in 2 days the PC already had like 4 problems. I am asking now because i don't want to make the same mistake.
But it was something like 2GB 1600 MHz ddr3 PC16000? or 1600.

Sorry for the lack of Info.

Alex.

There are a lot of things that you need to know about ram sticks, they are discussing it at the moment over in another thread, so I suggest you try over there and you might get a bit of information there.

Is there a way I can set a key to choose which OS I want to run?
Hello friends, I recently did a dual boot configuration with Win 7 and Win 8. I was wondering if there was a way to set a key to choose a OS to run. I have Win 7 to boot by default, it would be nice to keep tapping a key to boot from Win 8. If there isn't a way, I'm going to have to have a timer go...

Okey I thought I had finished my build and was ready for buying, but then my mate comes to me and says I should get a nvidia 480 SLI build, and I found one and saved about 500$ from the radeon 5970 build. So what should I choose? I've seen reviews of the 480 SLI being very noisy..and I don't...
