Windows won't start up after "YY" is displayed over black screen

    Hello,
I have an Acer aspire 5745DG with H2O Insyde bios (if that's correct).
About 2 days ago I left it hibernating. Today I started it up and after the Acer boot screen (where you can press f2 to go to boot settings), I got a black screen with two letter "Y"-s and that flashing cursor/line/underscore. Then it restarts and after the same thing happens, it freezes and it doesn't do anything.

I have tried to get windows safe mode by pressing f8 but after the letter Y-s come up it just gives off a loud beep.

Any help is very much appreiciated.

It seems you had similar problems last month when you received excellent advice for Gregrocker that it does not appear you took. How did you resolve the last problem as you left no feedback?

Yes, I did get a lot of advice last month but because of family members (who think are smart) I could not use it unfortunately. However I could get all my important files and then reinstall windows with a working disk which I still currently have.

I would advise that you go back to your previous thread and carry out all Gregrockers advice and recommendations and when complete report back here.
