    HP Envy randomly freezing, completely

    Hi everyone,
it seems my HP laptop has some problem(s) and fortunately I discovered this forum which appears to have a helpful and experienced community :).

So as you probably can see I have an HP Envy 17 with many problems, but the biggest of them all is this random freezing. When it freezes display stays lit and so do various lights (WLAN, mute, but you cant really operate them), it doesnt respond to anything, so it is necessary to reset it by pressing on/off button for a short while, or wait until it shuts itself down. Also it is noticeable that when it freezes, it becomes quieter, probably fan stops or maybe hard disk stops working, because the light for hard drive stops blinking (actually today it stayed on for the first time).

This freezing problem first occured about 3 months ago, when I was doing some 3d modeling and renders, and I thought it was a graphic card problem or with drivers.
So I formated the computer 2 days ago, I installed updates that were offered (not all at the same time). Then I also downloaded optional updates, which were for mostly for hardware like graphic card, touchpad and some other. After the computer restarted and logged in it freezed . So I had some other things to do so I left it frozen and when I came back the computer was off, so I turned it on and it freezed again when that windows loading sign appeared. After hard reset I was offered some repair and I think it restored it to some previous state. Unfortunately this didnt help much, it froze when I was watching a youtube video. Later I installed Minecraft because, before formating the computer, when I would play MInecraft it would freeze after a few minutes, sometimes 1 minute sometimes 10 minutes...well now it still freezes after a few minutes.

I am also posting that BSOD reports, I hope I did it right

Update your Display driver via optional Windows Update or the HP Support Downloads webpage for your model.

If this isn't sufficient update also the Chipset.

Did you follow the steps to correctly Clean Reinstall Factory OEM?
