windows 7 audio problems (digital output)

My computer seems to have deleted the drivers for my speakers and only gives me a digital output option in volume mixer and no speakers will show up , i have tryed to get drivers for my speakers but i cant find them anywhere and i dont really know the problem
so i don't want to mess around with it too much. this has happened once before but it was fixed in a computer shop for a fee , im not really willing to pay this again so any help will be appreciated :)

Hi xMoodyz, Welcome to the forums , With so little info to go on I can only suggestv you do a system restore , Choose a restore point prior to you losing the speaker drivers System Restore :)

You shouldn't need drivers for your speakers, only for the audio card. What kind of audio card do you have, and how recently have you updated the drivers?

This will not delete any of your files as long as the restore point you choose is fairly recent and you have not installed a vast amount of data since the problem occured
