If you don't have Win7 or don't want to buy Win7 then what I would do is wipe the HD with Diskpart Clean Command and reinstall the licensed version of Vista, using its installer which you create following the steps given here: Vista ISO download

After compiling the Vista ISO burn to DVD using ImgBurn at 4x speed, boot and follow these same basic steps to Clean Install Windows 7.

If it fails post back exactly at which step and the verbatim error message.

Did you buy a Win7 upgrade version to use on this computer? If so boot it to Clean Install Windows 7.

If it fails, reboot into the DVD, press Shift + F10 at the first screen to open a Command Line, run Diskpart Clean Command then try the install again.

If that fails post back the exact step where it fails in Clean Install Windows 7 and the verbatim error message.

If you don't have a legit Win7 Upgrade DVD with Product key then reinstall Vista as I suggested in my last post. If you have the Product Key but no DVD we can provide it for you.

Just do the Clean command, from the installer's Command Line accessing DISKPART At PC Startup

This is correct. Now try the install following the steps in Clean Install Windows 7.

While it is installing read over these Best Practices for handling drivers and setup in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 so you get and keep a perfect reinstall.
