    Hi,

Lets try something. In the CMD window that you can access, please type sfc /scannow and hit enter. What is shown?

Okay I'm tried it and it says there is a system repair pending which requires reboot to complete. Restart windows and run sfc again.

I can't do this cause windows won't start.

when your pc boots up do you have any option to "repair" try booting up whilst constantly pressing the following keys one at a time: delete, f1,f8,f12,f10 and tell me if it gets you anywhere

If you reboot your PC, what happens? If it takes you back to the CMD window, keep trying the sfc /scannow up to 3 times, with reboots between each.

Too me you need a windows repair disc, OR a usb with ubuntu linux on it, so you can try to get a fix whilst using linux

and for a start i'd never use mcafee i'd rather use free antivirus than that.
