There is, but am helping several people and also will be watching the olympics. I realize you want an immediate solution, but we are all volunteers here.

My script seems to be missing some installed programs.

I would like for you to use CCleaner to get a list of installed programs:

    List of INSTALLED PROGRAMS
CCleaner | Tools icon | Uninstall button |
click on Save to text file button (bottom right side)

Attach the install.txt file generated by CCleaner.

    InJust,

After taking a quick glance at your install list, then:
    1. uninstall any programs that you are not using.
    2. download, install and run the Secunia Personal Security Inspector:
    http://secunia.com/vulnerability_sca.../download_psi/

the reason for #2 is that you have some out-of-date software on your system, especially, you need to get rid of all of those old Java versions. For that one, you can simply: Control Panel | Programs and Features | rt-click on anything Jave and choose uninstall. Don't worry. The first time you really need Java, then you will be prompted to download and install the latest and greatest.

    3. Uninstall Soluto. That program continues to "monitor" and report back to soluto what is found, besides slowing down your computer, especially at startup time.

Oh, I'm still in the process of completing your suggestions.
However, the Secunia Personal Security Inspector link has gone bad

I've uninstalled a couple programs (I had 3 Cyberlink programs that I never used, but they gave me an uninstall error. So I manually deleted the files and messed with the Cyberlink entries in Regedit.)
Now, the Secunia PSI gives me a 100% rating after updating 3 other programs.
    I've uninstalled Soluto, too.
HOWEVER, when I try to uninstall the Java, it gives me an error message...

    Never mind about that.
I forcefully removed Java from the registry by using Revo Uninstaller.

I ran it right before I posted this topic today, so there shouldn't be a problem.
    But I'm running it again.
