"Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart" error and Clean installation Erorr
Its me again........
I had my second laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
My problem occurs when I try to downgarde [clean installation] to Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit (using CD / DVD installation). This is what I do: -
1. Select "Custom (Advanced)"
2. Select "Particion 2 (Primary)"
3. Then it erorr at "expanding the Windows files". (I forget what the erorr) & told me to restart.
Then, Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart error appear.
Then what I do after that is, try to install the with my other version of Windows, the Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit (this one using USB for Installation), I repeat the same way as above, and really surprised me everything went smoothly, no error.
If is the DVD ( Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit ) is main problem, but it when okay on my dad & bro pc & I just bought it 3 months ago.
This problem is not a new problem for me, but already this already thousands times this problem occurs when I try to make a "clean installation" on my first & second pc.
Plus, both are still consider a new laptop [1st laptop - 2009 & 2nd laptop 2011 ]
If you want to say that my DVD Player is the problem,it very strange to me because I've tried to install other programs like Avira and everything went smoothly except for a Windows installation DVD.
Usually , the installation went good on USB but always problem with DVD , although the DVD is a new one.....
If possible, I want to use my Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit instead of Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit because Windows 7 Ultimate does not belong to me, it's belong to my father. I'm using it only to attempt to solve this problem ..... .
So I hope anyone can help me.
Thank you.
note: Why i want to downgrade?? because most my software doesn't support 64bit....
