How do you change what the Windows Explorer Folder opens up to?

    How do you change what the Windows Explorer Folder opens up to?


    When I put Windows Explorer in the Task Bar and I click it, it goes to the Libraries. Would there be any possibility to change it, to open up to the folder of your Account Name? As in the folder that has the documents, download, music, picture, and videos.

Hi, When I open Windows Explorer, it always defaults to Libraries. I would like to customise Explorer so that it always defaults to Computer. Can someone offer me a tip to how I can do that, assumming it can be done? A registry edit possibly? Regards, Golden
The default action for double-clicking a folder in Explorer is to open that folder in a new window. The only way to get it to open in the same window is to right click and select Open. I have looked for specific registry edits, but my only results seemed to only apply to Vista or XP. Please...
